CHALLENGE
Football is a mentally and physically demanding sport.
Girls are challenged to be strategic thinkers,
communicate and coordinate with coaches and peers,
and push their physical abilties to sprint, jump, and catch.
Valor's Development Program provides girls a safe environment
to be seen for their strengths,
challenged in their weaknesses,
and accountability to growth in the areas they prioritize.
We welcome and encourage multi-sport athletes looking for coaches
who understand and prioritize an athlete's health over winning.
CULTIVATE
Self-confidence is the foundation of success in sports and in life. On the flag football field, confident athletes play with energy, take risks, and trust their abilities. For young female athletes, building self-confidence means learning to silence doubt, celebrate progress, and step into leadership roles with courage. Through consistent encouragement, skill development, and positive team culture, we empower players to believe in themselves. That belief doesn’t just make them better athletes—it equips them to face challenges in school, relationships, and future careers with assurance and strength. Confidence built here carries far beyond the game.
In flag football, the right coach makes all the difference. Beyond teaching plays and skills, a great coach helps athletes build confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset — believing effort and learning lead to improvement. For young female athletes, this means turning mistakes into lessons, challenges into opportunities, and victories into stepping stones for future growth. Our coaches model encouragement, discipline, and perseverance, shaping not just stronger players but stronger young women prepared for life on and off the field.
Leadership is more than calling plays—it’s about inspiring others, building trust, and setting the tone for the team. In flag football, young female athletes develop leadership skills by learning to communicate clearly, encourage teammates, and stay composed under pressure. These experiences teach them how to lead with empathy and accountability, both on and off the field. As they grow into leaders, they discover their voice, influence, and responsibility to others. The lessons in leadership learned here prepare them not just to succeed in sports, but to thrive in classrooms, friendships, and future careers.
COMPETE
The sport of flag football is growing at a rapid pace.
Girls in San Diego and Orange Counties have a head start in their development and competitive opportunities.
Our short term goal is to bridge this development gap in the Temecula Valley and surrounding cities
while competiting in high-level tournaments throughout Southern California.
Much like other female sports, collegiate opportunities are born in the club, travel, competitive space.
Our long term goal is to bring those high-level opportunities right here to the valley.
